Being a small community school we love to include our families in our students’ learning as often as we can. We are always asking for helpers to;
- listen to reading
- work with small focus groups
- assist in school fundrasing activities
- FoSP
- attend excursions and camps
- the list goes on…
IMPORTANT: As part of the Department of Education and Training’s Child Safety Standards policies, Somerville Primary School require all helpers to hold a current ‘Volunteer’ Working with Children’s Check, (please ensure you register ‘Somerville Primary School’ on your WWCC profile or application). Please ensure the office has a copy of your WWCC. Pop by anytime to check with our friendly office team.
If you are currently employed in a career that is exempt from requiring a WWCC (eg: Police Officer or Registered Teacher) please register your name and exempt profession with the office.
